Production of these carried on until the early 1960s but in the meantime, in 1957, an agreement was formed with Klockner Humboldt Deutz to manufacture Magirus-Deutz designs, including Deutz air-cooled diesels, under licence.
Pragas were soon phased out. Models included 4x2, 4x4 and 6x6, the 4x4 and 6x6 being for both civilian and military use. In 1996 TAM became MPP Vozila d.o.o. after bankruptcy and a new group ot 14 smaller companies owned by the Slovakian Government carries on the production of TAM trucks. The main selling truck is the TAM 90T-50 in both 4x2 and 4x4 form.
